Now Announcing:

“Helping mental health professionals reinvent and innovate their practice methods.”
http://www.clinicalpracticeinnovations.com/

Dear family, friends, and colleagues…

I am pleased to announce and share with you the unveiling of my first business venture: Clinical Practice Innovations.

As a coach and consultant, my initial focus will be on helping mental health professionals overcome the roadblocks in developing their own private practice. This includes:
  • Building A Practice
  • “Restoring” A Practice™
  • “Accessorizing A Practice™
  • Filling Your Practice
As time and needs progress, there will be opportunities to explore the many possibilities that exist for the practicing professional. As a start, together, we can evaluate your strongest desires and implement strategies to make them distinct possibilities and realities.

I have great vision for this business and will be unveiling several product developments over the next 12 months. These products will involve eBooks, audio programs, group coaching opportunities, and interviews with expert professionals on a variety of topics of interest to the field of professional practice of psychotherapy and psychology.

Furthermore, there will be special opportunities geared specifically for students and graduate students interested in studying the opportunities available in the mental health fields.

As the business develops, I plan on implementing several strategies and products to help practicing professionals leverage their time and commitments to ensure maximum productivity, efficiency, and satisfaction (both personally and professionally). One upcoming venture that has been in development for almost two years excites me the most. Please stay tuned, as this dream becomes a reality – a dream to support mental health professionals across the world in a revolutionary new process.

Make sure you visit the site (www.clinicalpracticeinnovations.com) and sign up for a free “mini-course,” The 7 Most Common Myths Mental Health Professionals Believe About Their Practice. In addition to these materials, you will also automatically be signed up for my newsletter and be amongst the first to know of interviews and the latest developments.

Over the next few months, I welcome you to watch as both the website and business develops. In the near future, both audio and video will be added to the website as well as more detailed information in the “Resources” section. Here you will find information for increasing your personal and professional development, as well as valuable resources for your continued professional success and personal development.

Welcome and thank you!

Your ongoing support and encouragement has been an inspiration for the development of this business venture. I could not have done this without the support of each and every one of you.

Delays and Making Progress

This business about websites and getting started truly is remarkable...

When I first set a goal of getting my website up and running on June 14th, little did I account for all the glitches, tweaks, and editing that would occur. It is amazing how much "stuff" really goes into this process.

I never imagined that designing and building a website would be that difficult or time consuming.
Did that last sentence hit you like it hit me (just as I wrote it)?

This is a common thread I have found when I first started brainstorming about my business. My actual beginning process immediately reduced my chances for success.

Unfortunately I did not know that until 6 - 12 months later.

What was I doing?

Well - I was doing a lot more things that weren't working than things that were working. I continued to focus on projects that were getting nowhere, rather than working on or taking steps on projects that would get me somewhere.

You want specifics?

I can't even begin to tell you how many hours and days I wasted staring at a blank page in my "Notepad" and in Microsoft Frontpage.

I actually believed that I could create a website from scratch - and all this without knowing what I wanted to create.

Even worse, I never reached out for help beyond the extent of a book - a book that couldn't talk to me or give me advice or even show me the ropes.

The real difference came when I took a chance, spoke with a web designer, and started moving forward.

From then on, life has been all about working smarter rather than harder. And it is working out in ways that I dreamed of - but wasn't certain would ever happen.

And, I almost forgot - keep your eyes posted over the next week (5 - 7 days) for the "live" announcement of my site.
